We
do not list brands in our chart
that
do not have their ozone outputs listed.
Not listing the ozone
output is a sure sign an ozone generator is under powered.
Any reputable ozone generator
company will list their machines ozone output.
Remember
the
ONLY way
to compare ozone generators
is
by the output in milligrams per hour. (mg.hr.)
Ozone
coverage is NOT based
on sq.ft. ratings,
it
is based on the actual ozone output ONLY!
Some
ozone manufacturers are using razor thin pieces of MICA
in their ozone plates.
MICA is
used instead of glass because if the ozone generator is bumped it does
not crack.
But MICA
is the cheapest and worst material to use in an ozone plate.
MICA easily
flakes apart, breaks, burns through, and shorts out the generator.
Stay far away from any ozone generator
using cheap MICA ozone plates.

than
"old style" cheap MICA
ozone plates.

Enaly
Ozone is a Chinese
company which ships ozone generators direct from China.
These are cheaply
made units that don't even come close to their rated outputs. There is
no United States regulation of these units. They can state their outputs
in milligrams per hour, but no US agency has checked them for their validity.
The United States Federal Trade Commission
has no regulation over a company like this as they do over a United
States based company like
Air-Zone
Inc. who is also a member of
the local Virginia Better Business Bureau.
Since they are
shipped direct from China
that means the buyer does NOT
get a United States warranty
on the unit. That means if they decide not to honor the one year warranty
the United States Federal Trade Commission
cannot help the customer. A Chinese company
cannot be forced or compelled by the FTC to honor it's warranty.
The warranty they
offer is only one year and if you need service you must pay for the round
trip shipping back and forth to China.
As a company they can get a pretty good rate on shipping to you but if
you must ship it back to them for servicing it could wind up being quite
expensive. It could be $75.00 to $100.00 easily even on a small unit.
What about when
you need to replace the ozone plates? Are you willing to pay the shipping
fee from China
once again? Most cheap ozone generators don't put out the ozone they advertise,
and repairing them is very difficult.
What if you don't
like the product or want to upgrade to a larger model and want to return
it?
Are you willing
to spend all those shipping fee's back and forth to China,
if they indeed do accept refunds? Is the shipping even insured like
ours is?
Since this company
is based in China
they do not have a United States
bank merchant account.
They only accept
payments through PayPal.
This is very important because if a customer feels like they have been
ripped off here in the US he can "chargeback" his credit card if there
is a problem.
You can't do
that with PayPal.
Once you pay for an item you are basically stuck with it.
According to
PayPal
rules they cannot offer even basic PayPal
buyer protection because they are located in China.
The
consumer should ONLY
buy products from a company with a valid United
States merchant bank account.
That is the only way he can possibly protect his investment. There
are other O3 ozone companies who also only offer PayPal payments, watch
out for them too.
These are NOT
quality ozone units.
We know what it
takes to make a quality ozone generator and it is next to impossible to
use quality parts at the prices they offer. There is also no way
to verify their ozone outputs.
You might save
a few dollars right away, but in the long run we don't believe these machines
are a very good value.

Spring
Air is a company
that refuses to list ozone outputs. There is no way to rate their machines
against other ozone generators. Plain and simple, you never know what size
you are getting from them. There is NO WAY
to compare them to other ozone generators.
Some
"A" brand ozone generators claim to make higher forms of ozone such as
O3, O4, O5, O6, O7 etc.
The
truth is that most ALL
corona discharge ozone generators, including ours, make higher forms
of ozone including O3, O4, O5, O6, O7 etc.
These
higher forms of ozone only last for a very short time (seconds) as these
unstable bonds quickly break apart due to the unbreakable laws of physics.
Therefore, in our opinion, higher forms of ozone formation are basically
meaningless, and that's why we don't mention them. Our machines make
them, others do also, it's common knowledge in the ozone industry.
Certain
machines also specifically claim to "remove" dust. Our simple question
is "where does the dust go?". Unless it's filtering out of the air then
it is just another form of ionization that simply "moves" it around the
room. What good is that?
It's
not really "removed" from the room, it is only "moved" around the room.
What's
Wrong with Ionization? Why ionizers don't really remove any dust.
Of
course if it is ionization, because no form of ozone can remove dust, then
the dust is going to build up a layer of dirt on your walls, floor, and
ceiling making it a more bacteria filled room.
Remember
just because a machine makes the air smell sweet does not mean that it
is a good thing. And if the same type of machine claims to "remove"
dust, yet has no dust filter on it to collect and truly remove the dust
from the room, then it is simply moving it around the room.

Some
machines list an "output" but it's never called an ozone
output
directly in the specifications. Very clever!
In
fact some web sites say that what they are making is NOT
ozone. Others state it is ozone. Some say they use ionization, and some
sellers say no ionization is used.
If
the sellers of these product aren't even sure of what it is how can
you be?
Can
this type of machine remove smoke? We don't know. But we do know it can
create a smokescreen of confusion for buyers.
They
may even have a specific name for this "ozone". How come that self claimed
trademarked name they use cannot be found in a U.S trademark search, and
other companies in totally unrelated fields, hold trademarks for that particular
name?
How
come there are no tests on this "new" compound?

There
are even some machines that are claming phenomenal mg/hr outputs.
They
talk about ozone but don't refer to their products as ozone machines.
Then
they claim to be something else. Which is it? It is NOT
ozone!
We
don't know what they are measuring, or by what standards, but it cannot
possibly be ozone. Certain laws of physics just can't be broken. Don't
be fooled.
The
clue to this is when they list an ozone output as 1200mg.hr. and recommend
the unit for a 139 sq.ft. room. In an 11 by 11 room like that you
could never use a 1200mg.hr. true ozone generator without being driven
out of that room in less than a couple of minutes. It would be very difficult
to be able to turn a machine down for an air purification level in that
room.
That's
why Air-Zone®
machines use variable ozone outputs, and short term burst timers. Control
over the ozone is the most important factor when using ozone
for air purification. The numbers just don't make sense. Don't be fooled
by over inflated ratings. Our ozone outputs are checked with 4 types of
ozone meters to be extremely accurate. Then they are checked by an outside
testing agency.
Some
ozone generators also have phenomenally high levels of Nitrogen
Oxide outputs that are not only offensive
but actually damaging. Poor machine design can contribute to these dangerously
high
Nitrogen Oxide
/ Nitric Acid
levels.
Be
careful of gimmick items, be sure to buy a true, Nitrogen
Oxide free ozone generator like our Air-Zone®.

ONLY
Air-Zone®
has
U.S.
Patented Xetin Ozone Elements, the highest ozone output for the
dollar, and the most innovative features including remote controls, and
built in timers. There are NO better ozone generators on the market!

/ ozone generator you are considering buying, and we will help you compare
