All Air-Zone® XT Ozone Generators use U.S. patented 3M Brand High Airflow Air Filtration Media intake filters. These low cost filters are used to help keep the inside of our units dust free. These low cost filters are far superior than reusable foam filters which allow up to 100% more dust to pass through them. XT-120/240 and 400/800 filters will last 1-2 months or more under normal conditions. They are not washable. XT-2000/4000/6000/14000/28000 filters will last 2-3 months or more. They may be backwashed up to three times each. Filter life depends upon the time of use, and level of contamination. Please change the dust filters when they become noticeably discolored. All our XT ozone generators come with a free one year supply of filters when shipped new.
