How
to use an ozone generator to remove odors from rooms
Cigarette smoke
and most other organic odors can be removed from hotel, motel, and apartment
rooms very effectively with high
ozone shock treatments.
Choosing the highest
powered ozone generator possible is best because the higher the ozone output
the quicker and more effectively the offending odors can be removed.
With a higher
powered ozone generator you can achieve a higher concentration of ozone
that will remove more of the odor in a shorter period of time.

Very
high levels of ozone blasted into unoccupied
rooms
are
a MUST for removing
serious odors.
Low
air
purification levels of ozone are NOT
sufficient
to remove serious odors.
That
is why we don't recommend smaller air purifiers for removing serious odors.

need a serious ozone blaster, like our Air-Zone®
XT-6000 to remove
strong odors such as cigarette smoke and moldy odors from hotel rooms.
How
to perform a High Ozone Shock
Treatment.
Set the ozone
generator on it's highest ozone output in an unoccupied
room for as long as it takes to eliminate
the odor problem. The operator can then set automatic timer, leave
the room, and come back when the ozone has reverted back into oxygen about
30 minutes after the ozone machine has shut itself off.
In most cases
it takes only 20 to 30 minutes with the proper sized ozone generator such
as the XT-6000 or the
XT-6000S
to perform a high ozone shock
treatment.
Rooms with serious
mold or cigarette smoke odors can be easily treated with an Air-Zone®
ozone
generator.
When performing
a high ozone shock treatment, make sure that all people, pets, plants and
other animals are vacant from the area to be treated.
Our units are
so strong that usually in 20 -30 minutes the room is completely deodorized.

MICA
is the cheapest and worst material to use
in an ozone plate.
MICA
easily breaks, flakes apart, burns, and shorts out the generator.

| The optional
Duct Hose Adapter is available for routing the ozone to a standard 4 inch
duct hose.
The Duct Hose
Adapter can be mounted on to the front of the machine. The user can
then connect a standard 4 inch duct hose on to the ozone air outlet.
The ozone generator
can then be kept out of the room being treated. In this manner the machine
itself is not exposed to the ozone.
This can be useful
because sometimes a room can actually run out of oxygen if it has all been
turned into ozone already.
By connecting
