We're not going to mince words here. The truth is that it bothers us that so many people are being scammed into buying gimmick air purifiers and specialty store  ionizers.  Highly respected specialty stores & web sites, and vacuum cleaner companies all have their own versions these tower or tabletop ionizers.  They run expensive radio and TV infomercials to sell their products. Some of the more famous brands have even had these products copied as knock off brands that look just like to originals.  Tower, tabletop, and box type ionizers are being sold everywhere.

Some ionizers claim to have special devices that eliminate ozone, what they mistakenly call SMOG, and turn it into oxygen.

Ozone is NOT smog, and eliminating the ozone actually PREVENTS the real SMOG which are actually toxic hydrocarbons from automobiles, from being cleaned from the air.

Some ionizers claim to turn pollution into oxygen.  REAL pollution such as hyrdocarbons can't be turned into oxygen. Dust or pollen can't be turned into oxygen. Ozone can be turned into oxygen, but ozone is NOT pollution.

Isn't it interesting that the same catalog company that features an ozone guard in their air purifier has now just started marketing ozone water purifiers and food washers like our company has?

Some ionizers have special collection plates that supposedly captures all the dust. 
The TRUTH is that the collection plates only capture about 10% of the dust and the other 90% gets electronically glued to your walls floor and ceiling.

Ionizers actually SPREAD dust, mold, and bacteria all over your home.

Some use UV lights that supposedly kills all the bacteria and mold.

There are so many companies coming out with all sorts of "air purifiers" that use "new technologies" that it is hard to keep up with all these new products.

The air purification business has been infected with get rich quick companies large and small.

Unfortunately there really is no "new" technology.

For real air purification you can either kill bacteria and mold with a real ozone generator, or capture and remove dust with a true HEPA filter.

Ionizers claim to drop dust to the floor.  That's NOT removing it from your home, that's simply moving it around your home! Some companies sell ionizers for $50.00 on eBay and elsewhere that claim to clean the air in a 3000 square foot house, when they can't even do that in a closet! Other companies see that they can charge up to $800.00 for fancy useless ionizers, that they manufacturer for less than $50.00, and make TREMENDOUS profit on them. Where do you think they get the money to run those expensive television and radio infomercials endlessly?  From all the extra profits they make.

One very famous specialty store that sells it's famous ionizer has over a 40% return rate on it's machine!  Yet because of it's high profit ratio they still make millions of dollars on the product.

Ineffective UV bulbs can't kill existing mold, even General Electric the manufacturer of these bulbs, states that. 

UV bulbs can only kill a slight amount of bacteria that passes within a couple of inches of them. 

Our ozone generators kill bacteria in the ENTIRE ROOM, not just the germs that are located a few inches from them.

Ionization can't remove any dust from your home or kill any bacteria. 

Even those fancy, expensive, new units that use special destruction chambers to kill bacteria can ONLY kill what air is drawn into them, not ALL the bacteria in the air, or that exists in the entire room, like a true, unoccupied room High Ozone Shock Treatment performed with a high powered ozone generator can.

Of course these high ozone treatments are always done in unoccupied rooms so there is no danger, because no one is there when they are being performed.

They claim their units will kill all the mold and bacteria in a 3000 sq.ft. home.
Yet with the 3 inch fan in their units it would take close to 20 hours to do just ONE air exchange in the home!.
This is, of course, if the unit could work through walls, which it cannot possibly do.

Some say that their units only put out a "safe" amount of ozone.
They are NOT safer, because they are NOT getting the job done.
What they are doing is giving a false sense of security to those who have been hoodwinked into buying them.

New air purifier combination units that claim to do it all, hardly kill any bacteria, nor remove much dust. 
These new low level ozone, ionizer, imitation HEPA units with UV bulbs are merely designed to present the customer with an impressive looking device that claim to do it all, but quite simply can't really do ANY of it right.

Most of these combination HEPA units have just a few ounces or carbon in them as a filter material (many less than that), yet the Austin Air True HEPA Filters we sell use 15 POUNDS of carbon in them!

Companies make huge profits from an unsuspecting public who desperately wants to believe that a small device sitting in the corner of a room will kill ALL the bacteria and mold, and remove ALL the dust in an ENTIRE house.

Many air purifiers claim to clean the air in an ENTIRE 3000 square foot home.  How is this physically possible?  By the magic radio waves they talk about?  Do they have any proof of that?

They claim these machines will kill ALL the bacteria and remove ALL the dust in an entire home.

Any intelligent person will so realize that air purifiers CANNOT work through walls. 
Therefore these so called air purifiers CANNOT cover an entire home at once.
Anyone who tells you this is simply insulting your intelligence.
 

The ONLY way to purify the air in an entire house at once is with an ozone generator that can be fired directly into the air ducts with a machine like the Air-Zone Air-Duct 2000. Ozone or ions are NOT going to travel through walls as other companies may have led you to believe.

People think that companies would not be able to make so many outrageous claims if they were not true.  All it takes is for someone to watch TV and see all the magic pills, belts, bracelets and other guaranteed weight loss scams to realize that false advertising, and outright greed is everywhere.

Why are so many air purifiers being sold today are being sold through a dealer network by multi-level marketing companies?

A common technique used by multi level marketers is to let the user "borrow" a combination ozone generator / ionizer to see how well it works in their home.

At first the user is impressed by the fresh clean smell coming out of the machine and how nice it makes their home smell.  This is sometimes enough to get the prospective customer to buy the unit.

The problem is that the customer may not really understand that while a machine with an ionizer will give the home a nice fresh smell the user will pay a high price for this smell.  That's because ionizers turn walls black with soot, and increase bacteria and mold counts wherever they are used.  They fool the user into thinking the air is cleaner when it's really not.
